In a business "branding" class I attended, this exercise was very enlightening and helped me to become aware of how I presented myself to the "world". It's a powerful way to become more self-aware if you are presenting yourself as you want.
Simply ask various people in your life to send (text, email, DM) you 3 words they would use to describe you. Send to people in your different social circles (family, friend, work, community). You can choose how many, but don't over do it! A good round number is 6.
When you get the responses back, don't judge yourself (or the sender). Be open to the feedback. If you get words that are consistent and you appreciate, then you are sending out into the universe the vibes you want.
When you get a variety of words it's possible that you have different energy in different social circles, and that's okay too - if the words are what your aiming to radiate.
If you are surprised at any of the words, don't blame the sender or yourself. Just evaluate and assess, and decide if you want to make any changes. Changes don't often or have to happen immediately. But use this heightened sense of awareness to your advantage.
You can start by asking yourself - "what are my 3 words"? Then when you get responses back, you'll see how close you are to seeing yourself as others see you.
