All this time, I had no idea that my list making and accomplishment checking was giving me a mood lift!

Dopamine, often called the "Motivation Muscle" is released when you achieve any goal - large or small. Making a daily list of small goals and then checking them off will give you a constant release of this feel good neurotransmitter!

A lack of dopamine is associated with the following consequences:

  • Apathy

  • Lack of focus

  • Forgetfulness

  • Moodiness

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Insomnia
