a slice of Patience

liz@fghealthcoach.com

Including a slice of patience in your daily health routine can help in so many ways. Here's a story from CBS Sunday Morning.

The takeaway is: The opposite of Patience is not Impatience, it's anxious, ill, injured, addicted, lonely or dead. The stress on your body from being in the situation of impatience has long term impacts. Being able to stay calm and take on challenges with resilience is they key. Re-energizing your mind and body throughout the day by taking breathing breaks, getting outside for air/sun and walks - all help to calm in the short-term. Taking long walks, hikes and being outdoor active in the morning, lunch-time, after work and weekends is also important.
